The 2012 PagePlay Equestrian Social Media Awards

During the 9 day run up to Christmas Eve, 2,629 individuals submitted 8,137 nominations via our app on Facebook. We've since been through the unenviable task of selecting ten finalists in each category from nearly 2,000 nominees. The selections were made on the basis of unique supporting statements, engagement criteria and the display of good online etiquette. It was a tough job with the standard of nominees’ being truly exceptional.

The final results are based 70% on scores from the Expert Panel and 30% on votes from the public. The panel is a hand-picked group of the best equestrian marketers, digital professionals, social media gurus and branding experts from across the globe.

The public vote has now closed.

Winners will be announced during ESMA Week, 5th - 9th March.

Criteria judges and the public based their selections on:

Innovation - are they thinking outside the box?
Individual – is their content original?
Inspiration – are you compelled to act, buy or share?
Interaction - do they involve fans/followers and encourage discussions?
Information - is it accurate, interesting and useful to their audience?
